Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! My name is Heather Winston and I am this year’s PTA president for Fulbright Elementary. As proud Fulbright Falcon moms ourselves, Lauren Malm, president-elect, and I are excited about the upcoming school year!
This new year offers an opportunity to return to a ‘normal’ routine for our teachers, students, and families, and we could not be more thrilled! To celebrate this new normal in which we find ourselves, the PTA is enthusiastically planning to host events the whole family can enjoy. From our annual Fall Carnival and Book Fair to our precious father-daughter dance, mother-son event, and more, these events will allow you to engage with your child, their school, and friends. A complete list of events is located on the PTA tab of the Fulbright Elementary website. Make sure to mark your calendars to enjoy these events with your students and other Fulbright families! Please be mindful that as we will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, some of these event dates and details may change as we must ensure the safety of our students and faculty.
While our Fulbright parents have always been committed volunteers, we always need and want more help. Family involvement is imperative as we support and give back to our precious school and faculty that cares for our children every day. We want all Fulbright families to participate in the fun, and with almost 600 students, we need everyone’s help. Please reach out to me if you are willing to share your time, skills, or community contacts with the Fulbright Elementary PTA.
